The Dutch Society of Psychodermatology (NVPD), was founded July 25 2006 in Amsterdam. The aim of the NVPD is to promote, spread and apply knowledge and new insights and to promote collaboration between medical/psychosocial professionals in the area of psychodermatology.
NVPD aims at a broad application of psychodermatologic insight in scientific research and clinical practice. It is a multidisciplinary organization comprising dermatologists , psychiatrists, psychologists, dermatological nurses and social workers.
